BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED WITH SUBTLE GLAZED HINTS OF VERDIGRIS GREENS AND AQUA BLUES AMONGST THE BROWNS, CHARCOALS AND WHITE HORSES

THE UPPER THIRD AND BASE FINISHED IN A RAW MATTE TONED TERRACOTTA CHOCOALTE WITH A GLAZED BLACK INTERIOR

SIGNED BENEATH “531 HELIAS CERAMANO W, GERMANY” ALONG WITH WHAT LOOKS LIKE TWO FAINT INITIALS TO THE BASE

I CAN FIND NOTHING ON THE NET TO COMPARE THIS DESIGN WITH AND BELIEVE IT MAY BE AN EARLY TRIAL OR ONE-OFF STUDIO PIECE PROBABLY BY HANS WELLING

THE VASE MEASURES A SUBSTANTIAL 330MM TALL BY 170MM IN DIAMETER

IT IS A THICK WALLED HEAVY PIECE WEIGHING 3.8KGS
